The product already had its niche. The first version was vibe-coded, and the business could not yet run on it. That is the problem Quolo was hired to solve.

We researched the operation first, then rebuilt the system so the hard technical problems were one piece of work. The value is a product the shop can keep using as the work grows.

Another studio could have shipped the rebuild and left. The client kept Quolo for the technical maintenance and for judgement on what the product should do next.

The product was ambitious: a large multimedia system with dense interactions, and more than one party already involved in the work.

Quolo took the technical path — the build, the hosting, and the coordination with those other stakeholders — so the product could keep moving without the technical work splitting across hands.

When the site matched the specifications, Quolo handed it off. We still consult when a technical question comes up.

We built the public site and a backend where partner organisations can add and share resources without exposing contributor identities.

Users sit in different countries and comfort levels with software, so the UI had to stay simple. Security around identity was non-negotiable.

DreamTrip.io needed a travel-planning app that turned a short brief into a usable itinerary, with accounts, sharing, and payments — not just a demo chat.

We wired booking and package APIs (including Skyscanner and Viator), Stripe, auth, and a backend that could take real traffic. Model calls for suggestions were capped and shaped so cost stayed predictable.

Partnering with Investec, a leader in private equity and financial services, our task was to create a robust, secure, and intuitive travel booking platform. This included flights, cars, and package bookings, all integrated with real-time booking APIs like Amadeus.

The project demanded high levels of security and meticulous handling of user data, given Investec's status as a financial institution. We navigated complex requirements for flight bookings from various providers, implemented secure payment processes with 3D Secure, and addressed evolving challenges like COVID travel restrictions and baggage management.

Our solution also included comprehensive backend systems for accounting and booking management, alongside email communication systems.
