Overview

DreamTrip.io came to us with a working idea for travel planning and a stack that was not ready for real users. The job was to ship an app people could log into, generate itineraries from, share, and pay for.

We built the product around that path: accounts and profiles, itinerary generation, trip sharing, and Stripe. Booking and package data came in through live APIs (including Skyscanner and Viator), with imagery and affiliate pieces on AWS where needed. Suggestion features that call a model were kept behind clear prompts and token limits so the bill did not run away.

The unglamorous work mattered as much as the clever bits — auth, data handling, and a backend that would not fall over when more than a handful of people used it at once.
